Stanage Tree Service did an exceptional job of shaping and cleaning out two oak trees that haven’t been maintained for years. They came when they promised and even worked in the rain to get the job done on schedule, and then removed all the debris and left my yard in great condition. The work, which included removal of many branches and some large limbs, left my trees with a nice open canopy and allowed sunlight to filter down to areas that haven’t seen sun in years. All around it was a professional job and we are very pleased with the quality.

Stanage is a company with a long history that primarily serves commercial businesses. They were recommended to me by the arborist for The Villages who was assessing my neighbor’s wild oaks for removal. I knew it was time to hire a professional arborist because I wanted to save my 3 10-yr-old wild oaks, not just cut them down when their roots threatened my–and the neighbors’-foundations. Bryan installed a root barrier for my pool area and “amputation” of encroaching roots in another part of the yard. He also provided a conservative prune-and-trim of all the trees to direct their healthy growth and protect my roof and birdcage while maintaining a natural, beautiful–not chopped–appearance. They even pruned free of charge a canary palm that would have, in a future storm, damaged my birdcage. Also, Bryan made numerous suggestions for cutting my queen palms and keeping them healthy. Bryan and his crew are friendly, knowledgeable professionals who thoroughly explain their recommendations, then let you, the homeowner, decide how you want to proceed.

The process with Stanage Tree Service was just so easy. Bryan Stanage came out to our home, inspected the three trees and offered his professional opinion as an arborist what we should have done. He gave us our estimate and showed up on time the morning the tree work was to be done. Answered all our questions as he was taking down our large oak tree. I have been the Landscape Manager for about 10 years for a large retirement community known as The Villages of Lake Sumter, and I am an ISA Certified Arborist. Bryan Stanage was the first fellow ISA Certified Arborist I met in this area, and I have known him and utilized his services for much of that time. What impressed me about him from the first was the amount of practical knowledge he already had at that time, and that he was preparing to become additionally ISA certified in another category as ISA Utility Specialist to further his knowledge and career.
